Malaysia vs Man Utd? Wow… I am a fan of Man Utd! And it is really great if I can see Man Utd live in Bukit Jalil again after few years back. And I tend to buy tickets to see this ‘not so often’ tour to Asia. But I am too busy, not sure if I am able to go for the game. Even, I have missed their training! But not all are bad news. I got a called from someone I know, offering me ticket to the game and it is free! Wow, I feel lucky on that time. I wait for the ticket until at last it reached on my hand on Saturday morning & I was suprised that it was a RM308 comlimentary ticket.

Without hesitation, I, together with my good friend (he also got the same ticket) heading to Bukit Jalil at about 4pm. And as predicted, the traffic there is quite heavy. With all the Man Utd’s fan heading the same direction, my friend had a great idea of the best spot to park the car. Even we had to walk a few minutes to the Stadium, it is worth of avoiding the hassle dazzle traffic jam. Before entering the stadium, both of us walking around the stadium to find some souveniers. Unfotunately, the only thing that attracted us is the Malaysia muffler & we bought it. Afterall, we are Malaysians rite? Both wearing Man Utd jersey & Malaysia muffler, we entered the Red Gate & looking for the RM308 blocke 113. Unfortunely, when arrived at block 113, the entrance is only for the media & we were escorted to block 114. And again, we were escorted to our seat. Wah! Thank you, thank you. Sitting near to the field has both pros & contras. The good thing would be we can see the Man Utd & Malaysia players from near. And the not so good thing is whenever the ball is at further field, we have to look up at the big monitor to see what is happening.

The game started very well for Malaysia, where they controlled the game for a while. Control onlylah, without much effective attack. Then, it is Man Utd who stole the highlight (as predicted). Chip from Gibson found Berbatov & the striker give a shot at the goal, demanding the Malaysia goalkeeper Farizal to make a find save, with only making an unfinished save. The ball finds Rooney who just tap it to the goal mouth. And with that, it is Malaysia 0, Man Utd 1. Malaysia did some attack, but with the 2 tal solid defend, Rio & Evan, the Man Utd seems will not conceed any goal. Then again, Man Utd did it again. Rooney made a dribble & find Nani & goal, Nani scored. Malaysia 0, Man Utd 1. And I though that’s it. Malaysia will be demolished as before. But, suddenly, it goes to Malaysia’s way. Amri Yahya get the best of Evan, made a turning & seeing Van Der Sar was out of possion, volleyed the ball pas him & goal! Malaysia 1, Man Utd 2. And then first half over.

The second half started with Ben Foster replacing Van Der Sar. And at this half, not much action given. And then, it is Malaysia who made a suprise. Ben Foster made a mistake when missed the back pass with Amri Yahya pressuring him & win the ball before tapping it to the Manchester net. And Goal! Malaysia 2, Man Utd 2. Wow, I though that it is over & an achievement for Malaysia. But at the last minute, Giggs the legend made a fine run over the through pass with Malaysia goal keeper made a save. But the ball reached to Owen & he controlled the ball before make a shot to the Malaysia goal, and that’s it. Malaysia 2, Man Utd 3.

The game ended that way & I did stay back to see prize presentation & wait untill the very last minute until Gary Neville entered the tunnel. He did not played maybe because of the fitness level. But, I just wish I was one of the fans who got either Anderson or Evra jersey. But what to do, I am not that lucky! hehehe..
