I come across with an article from TheStarOnline where a graduate student from Batu Berendam has become a victim of an online bank scam. According to him, he has received an email from a well known bank (at least the interface is very similar), requesting him to update his account. Everything seems normal until the bank called him & noticed that he has lost RM5,000.
Well, just a little piece of advice, NEVER EVER do your transaction via your email. Any email sent to you should be clarified first. Just give a call to the bank involved. Nowaday, people are getting brilliant and the scam are getting smart! Be careful friends!
